This privacy policy applies to the Altınım app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Emre Özcan (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Altınım is an offline-first gold and jewelry tracking application. The financial and personal records you enter (such as gold/jewelry items, amounts, dates, person names and savings goals) are stored only on your device in a local database and are never uploaded to the Service Provider's servers. The Application uses a limited set of third-party services for anonymous analytics, crash reporting, push notifications and advertising, as described below.
The following information is created and stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to the Service Provider:
This data is stored in a local SQLite database. Uninstalling the Application permanently deletes this data from your device. You are responsible for keeping your own backups (see "Backups" below).
To operate and improve the Application, the following information may be collected automatically by third-party services. This information does not include the financial records or person names you enter:
The Application does not collect precise location data.
During first launch, the Application asks for your consent to collect anonymous analytics and crash reports. On iOS, the Application also presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any data is used for personalized advertising. You can change these preferences at any time from the device settings and the Application's settings (for example, by disabling analytics, notifications or biometric lock). You can stop all automatic collection entirely by uninstalling the Application.
The Application may send push notifications (for example, price updates and reminders) through Firebase Cloud Messaging. To deliver these notifications, a device-specific notification token is generated. You can disable notifications at any time from your device or the Application's settings.
The Application lets you create an encrypted backup of your local data. Backups are protected with AES-256 encryption using a password that you choose, and are saved to a location you select (such as your device storage or the Files app). Backups are never uploaded to the Service Provider. If you lose your backup password, the backup cannot be recovered by anyone, including the Service Provider.
To display current gold and currency prices, the Application requests publicly available price information from third-party financial websites. When such a request is made, the third-party website may receive standard technical information such as your IP address. The Service Provider does not control the privacy practices of these websites.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You may also disable analytics, crash reporting, advertising tracking and notifications through the Application's settings and your device settings.
Records you create are retained on your device until you delete them or uninstall the Application. Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained by the third-party services according to their own retention policies. If you have any questions about data deletion, please contact the Service Provider at developer.emreozcan@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider (developer.emreozcan@gmail.com) so that the necessary actions can be taken.
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 - "KVKK"), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because the records you create are stored only on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly by editing or deleting your data, or by uninstalling the Application. The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Local data remains on your device, backups are encrypted with AES-256, and the Service Provider relies on reputable third-party providers (Google) for analytics, crash reporting and advertising. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
The Application is a personal tracking tool only. It does not provide investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and nothing in the Application should be interpreted as such. Gold, currency and other price information shown in the Application is obtained from third-party public sources, is for informational purposes only, and may be delayed, inaccurate, incomplete or unavailable. The Service Provider does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness or completeness of any data shown.
All decisions you make based on the information in the Application, including any financial or investment decisions, are made solely at your own risk and responsibility. You are solely responsible for the data you enter and for keeping your own backups; the Service Provider is not responsible for any loss of data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be held liable or responsible in any way, for any reason, for anything arising out of or in connection with the Application or your use of it. This includes, without limitation, any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages; any loss of profits, revenue, data, savings, or goodwill; any financial or investment loss; any damage resulting from inaccurate, delayed, missing or unavailable data; any data loss or corruption; any device or software issue; and any damage of any other kind, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, and whether or not the Service Provider has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You expressly agree that your use of the Application is entirely at your own risk and that the Service Provider assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any consequence resulting from your use of it. By using the Application, you accept full and sole responsibility for your use of it. Where applicable law does not allow the full exclusion of liability, the Service Provider's liability shall be limited to the smallest amount permitted by that law.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
